6. Jamie Pollock

Jamie Pollock serves as the Financial Secretary for the FAMU National Alumni Association’s Broward Chapter. In this role, Jamie is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the chapter, which includes collecting money at meetings, filing mandatory annual financial reports, and supplying budget reports to the executive board. Additionally, Jamie reports the financial status to the chapter members and coordinates membership procedures. This position is crucial for the financial health and organizational efficiency of the chapter1. The Financial Secretary also works closely with other members of the executive committee to direct the chapter’s business, determine local dues structures, review and update bylaws, set meeting times and agendas, approve special events and projects, and more. These responsibilities ensure that the chapter operates smoothly and aligns with the broader goals and vision of FAMU1. Jamie’s role is part of a team effort to support the legacy and involvement of FAMU alumni in the Broward County area, contributing to the community’s outreach and the university’s overall mission.
